PICNA and University of South Carolina (USC) organized an event entitled ' Discover Islam' at Sonoco Pavilion of the Darla Moore School of Business on Tuesday, March 28, 2017. The highlight of the evening's program was a presentation entitled "Understanding Islam and Muslims" by Chaudhry Sadiq, President of PICNA.

PICNA and Unity Productions Foundation hold "The Sultan and the Saint" Premiere in South Carolina4/3/2017 The True Story of St. Francis of Assisi and the Sultan of EgyptPICNA and Unity Productions Foundation (UPF) held the South Carolina premiere of the much-awaited movie"The Sultan and the Saint", about Muslim Christian peacemaking, at the Midlands Technical College, NE campus in Columbia on Sunday, March 12, 2017. The film was enjoyed by an enthusiastic audience comprising of community leaders, faith leaders, intellectuals and professionals from Muslim and Non-Muslim community.
PICNA and Lutheran Seminary Present a Highly Successful ProgramIn view of the challenges being faced by U.S. Muslims and in the light of the current volatility in national political environment, PICNA and Lutheran Seminary produced their first joint program entitled, "Understanding Islam and Muslims" on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at their premises In Columbia, SC.  The event was co-hosted by PICNA and Academy of Faith and Leadership, a subsidiary of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary and held at their Stavros Hall.
 Ted Goins, President and CEO of Lutheran Services Carolinas, and Chaudhry Sadiq, PICNA President, met over breakfast on Friday, August 5, 2016 to discuss cooperation between their two organizations. Lutheran Services have been settling refugees in the Carolinas for decades while PICNA is coordinating volunteer efforts by the Muslim community for refugees.

PICNA, established in 2011, is now five years old. In keeping with it's vision and mission, PICNA has been striving for peace and harmony between people of various faiths and cultures, as well as enlightening the society about true Islamic values and principles.
PICNA and Unity Productions Foundation Join Hands to Combat IslamophobiaMuslim community members and interfaith leaders met over the weekend of May 20 - 22, 2016 to discuss Islamophobia in America and evolve strategies to combat this menace. Two separate events were held at Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC, on "Understanding Islamophobia in America", one mainly for the Muslim community and the other comprising interfaith community leaders.  Announcing a new Partnership with Unity Productions Foundation PICNA is set to break new ground by entering into a partnership with a media organization. "We at PICNA are excited about this new alliance in an effort to fulfill our vision and mission" said Chaudhry Sadiq, PICNA President. He went on to elaborate: "PICNA is entering into a partnership with Unity Productions Foundation, a reputed media organization to combat Islamophobia and create awareness about Muslim history and heritage in America".
PICNA and USC Organize Yet another Successful Program  What is Sharia? Is it really a threat? These and many other questions were addressed in an historic event organized by Peace and Integration Council of North America (PICNA) and USC, Department of Religious Studies at the USC campus on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
